Every Bitter Thing is Sweet

Myrrh is a symbol of suffering and victory, of pain and transformation.  While gold and frankincense honor Jesus as King and High Priest, myrrh is the humbling yet beautiful reminder of the gravity of the mission of the Suffering Servant.
