Scripture teaches us to follow the example and instruction of Jesus to be baptized as we seek to follow him. It also demonstrates that baptism was practiced consistently in the early Church any time a person came to know and follow Jesus.  At McCook Christian we understand that baptism is the entry point into life in Christ. We ask that anyone desiring to be baptized go through our baptism process to learn more about baptism and the role it plays in the life of a disciple of Jesus. We have baptisms at every Celebration Sunday and ask that individuals desiring to be baptized complete the process in advance of those dates.
